Unsightly black mold and mildew growth were why I remodeled my bathroom. Only after I built my new bathroom did I find the secret to keeping the mold at bay. Had I known about this mold removal product before, I might not have needed to rip my room apart. I love the new room, though, so there is a silver lining.

Soon after my newly gleaming bathroom was finished, the dreaded black mold started to return. I was horrified, but luckily I learned how to prevent mold and mildew from ever taking over my space again.

Black Mold Symptoms

Is mold in the bathroom dangerous?

Not all types of mold are dangerous, but it’s difficult to tell which kind of mold you have without performing a test by calling in experts or using a mold test kit.

I’m not going to bore you with all the long and hard-to-pronounce names given different strains of mold, and I’m not going to list all of the huge numbers of symptoms that some types of black mold are claimed to cause. I will say that some molds can be very toxic and you certainly don’t want to leave them untreated if you have this in your bathroom. I will list a small selection of the many horrific problems black mold can cause.

  • Mental problems such as confusion, dizziness, and memory loss.
  • Difficulty breathing, coughing, and bleeding in the lungs.
  • Irregular heartbeat and low blood pressure.
  • Eye inflammation and blurry vision.
  • Infertility and impotence.
  • Fatigue, aches, and pains.

On top of all this, black mold and mildew growth in your bathroom looks awful, whether it is toxic or not. You will want to get rid of it and sooner rather than later.

Get rid of the mold and keep it away

A few short weeks after I had remodeled my bathroom, the black returned. It was just a little in the corner of the grout to start with, but it was slowly growing. My heart sank. I suddenly had visions of my lovely new bathroom covered in horrible slimy black mold again, and it was almost too much to bear.

Then a friend told me about Mold Armor. It’s a spray that will kill the mold and turn it all white again. Of course, I didn’t believe it. I had tried everything, and nothing had worked against the fungus growth. But I hadn’t tried Mold Armor, so I thought I would try. What happened next was almost beyond my belief. I sprayed it onto the black patches, and in less than a few minutes, I could already see that the black spots were getting smaller.

I re-sprayed the mold patches the next day and then again a few days after that, and before long, my bathroom was back to its gleaming glory.

Mold Armor works, and I am so pleased to have discovered it. Get some today and try it out on your mold and mildew stains.

What causes mold in the bathroom?

Black mold is a fungus. It is carried by spores which are often air-born, and they can get anywhere. To grow, the mold fungus needs a warm damp environment which is found in your bathroom. If you want to prevent the fungus from growing, then your best defense is ventilation to keep the room nice and dry when it isn’t used.

Make sure that you have an extraction system that will pull the water vapor out of the room after use and open windows whenever possible.

Getting rid of bathroom mold

How to remove mold in a bathroom

Depending on how bad your mold problem is, you may need to start by removing and replacing any silicon sealers that may be infected. You can use Mold Armor to kill the surface mold and stop it from getting any worse than it is, but if the silicon has gone black, it might be not easy to turn it back to its original color. When you have removed the old sealer, apply the Mold Armor and leave it to dry before replacing it with new silicon. This should prevent the mold from growing back from the underside.

Warning: Make sure you wear old clothes to do this because if you get any Mold Armor on them, they will stain beyond repair.

Give a good spray with Mold Armor everywhere, then leave it for ten minutes before washing everything down. Let it dry, then spray all the affected areas again. Repeat the mold spraying daily until you can see that you have it on the run. Before you know it, your bathroom will start to look new again.

Preventing mold and mildew in your bathroom

I use Mold Armor to keep my bathroom spotless, and I know it can do the same for you. At least once a week, you should spray a little Mold Armor into the cracks and corners of the shower and tiles where mold is likely to get a foothold. You don’t need much, so use it sparingly.

If you spot any sign of black mold or mildew starting to grow, then give it a spray immediately. If the spots are small, then one application will generally be enough.
